Enhancing Motivation for Change Inservice TrainingTIP 35
Enhancing Motivation for Change Inservice Training is based on Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) 35, Enhancing Motivation for Change in Substance Abuse Treatment. The manual provides materials for inservice training of substance abuse treatment professionals on basic concepts of motivational enhancement. Eleven 1½- to 2-hour training modules can be delivered over consecutive days or several weeks. Each module includes presentation instructions, PowerPoint slides (that can be copied onto overhead transparencies), homework assignments, and participant handouts.
